Hamnah is studying in her room, the only source of light she is studying from is a candle light. We see her father coming inside, he is talking to the land lord, and he is reminding him that he will pay the rent of the shop soon. Her mother enters the scene and starts screaming at the father saying to pay the rent from the money he saved. The father counters her by saying that the money he saved, is for her daughter’s education. Mother screams that she will get married in a few years so the education is worthless anyways. Her father gets upset and goes to his room and slams the door. The next morning we see that the father is leaving for work, he drops her daughter to school , and goes to the shop, opens the shutter, cleans the shop with a cloth. And then the landlord comes and starts to threaten him about the rent. The landlord tells him to call his wife. He gets scared and calls his wife and all he hear is a gunshot, he starts to cry.
