Mujbooryan, a film that focuses on social issues such as early marriages, poverty, burden of income on the man of the family and how a poor family suffers at the hands of rich ruling class. My film paints the portrait of a poor household in which the daughter is destined to be married at an early age similar to all other girls living in the rural areas. The father however is against this pre-destined fate of her daughter and wants to educate her but due to the lack of income, pressure of running a family and paying the bills… the chances for Hamnah continuing her studies seem thin. Moreover it also shows how the ruling class can touch heights to get their work done or get their money back from the poor. The landlord uses the vulnerabilities of Amjad to blackmail him into paying the rent, he uses his most greatest weakness… Hamnah. It shows how the lower class suffers at the hands of the ruling class and how they are forced to do whatever they demand because the ruling class has access to their weak links.
